Raceday weekends are an evolution of regular motorcycle track days and feature continuous timing, open pit lane access and fun sprint and endurance races. With riders coming from all over Europe there is always a fantastic paddock atmosphere. Our goal is to provide you with your best trackday experience ever.

The typical format of a Racedays event is as follows:

The first sessions of Day 1 are ridden in groups based on the ability registered on your booking form. The early afternoon of day 1 is open pit-lane access, enabling you to progress at your own pace. Riders are counted on to the circuit and counted off as they return to the paddock, ensuring there are only ever a set number on the circuit at any one time. This means the track doesn't become overcrowded and that any waiting times in the pit lane are generally kept to a few minutes at most. You have the freedom to lap for ten or fifteen minutes then pull in and make adjustments, refuel or have a coffee before returning to the track. No stress, no rushing to make your group. How much or how little track time you use is entirely at your discretion.

Transponders are issued free and your lap times will be continuously recorded. Your fastest lap of the day will be used to decide which group you are in for the Day 1 late afternoon pre-qualifying sessions. Pre-qualifying is split into four groups according to these lap times; this means faster riders can push for a quick time unobstructed and newcomers lap with people of their own ability. These sessions are timed but only in exceptional circumstances will they be used as qualifying times.

At the end of the day all your lap times will be available at the control garage, along with a complimentary glass of beer or lemonade. Coffee is available free of charge throughout the event at this garage.

Day 2 is open pit-lane access until late morning when qualifying takes place. Qualifying has 4 groups based on all the previously recorded lap times. The times taken in this qualifying session are the only ones used for the races and ensure that all grid positions are an accurate reflection of a rider's ability. It is vital to attend this session if you wish to take place in the races.

Following lunch the circuit is again open pit lane until late afternoon when the open-class races take place. The open-class races are based solely on lap times, regardless of the type of motorcycle. The B group race takes place first and, depending on the circuit, is open to the riders qualified in positions 41-81. This is usually a 5 lap sprint race. The A group race follows directly after for qualifiers 1-40. This race is run over 50 miles.

The starting procedure is either a normal gridded start or a rolling start behind a pace rider - dependant on the circuit. For rolling starts it is the shortest time taken to complete the race distance that wins. Timing only starts when you cross the start line!

Participation in the races is voluntary and there is ample track time for those who would rather spectate than compete.

Day 3. Following an open pitlane warm up session the sprint races take place. Each is run over an 8-lap distance with grid positions based on the recorded qualifying times. The classes include up to 600cc, Superbikes (V-twins and 750's), over 750 cc, streetfighters, ladies cup, over 40's, and mixed class: 250 2-stroke and 400 4-stroke. The afternoon of Day 3 is again open pit-lane access until the circuit closes.

At selected events there will be the opportunity to participate in two or four hour team endurance races. These involve swapping the transponder between bikes and riders -the first team transponder across the line is the winner! 4 day events have all the above features, but with an average eight hours of extra open pit lane practice.

Racedays events run on full circuits, generally with no noise restrictions. No race license is required. Legal, safety and insurance requirements are fully complied with and riders safety is of paramount importance to us. As well as full medical support and marshalling there is a complete race service offered at each event -tyre fitting, knee sliders, visors etc. Although there is always a large selection of tyres at the circuit it is advisable to pre-order to ensure the manufacturer choice and sizes will be available.

These events are recommended for confident, experienced sports motorcyclists and are not suitable for track novices.
